"THE MOCKTAIL BAR"- poetry

Image
This poem is a part of my upcoming collection and book AROMA OF WORDS. The Mocktail Bar Things got heated very quickly . I stormed out of my houseand booked a cab to "The Mocktail Bar". This is my favorite "Vanishing Act". "The Mocktail Bar" is preferred by me, as it serves me with some perfect , mess - bursters :   First: The Sea Breeze Drink. It's sips takes me to a massive beachside house ,  all glass and shining wood ,  diamond sea sprayed in a blinding sun.  The pink prawns on a barbeque skewer  and the butterscotch limbed blondes  you never saw . Second : French 75  It's sips take me to the dazzling streets of 60's!   Where fortune and good intentions,  keeps the essence of generosity alive.  Where even the bombarded structures   serves with homely vibes.  Where the warmest item of clothing,  in winters is a 'Sweatshirt'.  Where simplicity is a key element.    Third : Blue Shoe Drink ...

"CUPCAKES AND RAINBOW" BOOK REVIEW

Image
CUPCACKES AND RAINBOW BY APARNA SINGH - A poetry collection you can relate to. It is a poetry collection which makes the readers crave love, affection, departure in a way which is soothing to accept regardless of this the fact is, the deliverance carries an essence which sometimes is easy to catch but sometimes seems like a textual conviction. It holds titles like - In the month of June, Light up your world, I wish and such. Here love and its shades are defined and also been given an edge which cannot be underestimated. Many parts are beautifully elaborated. Some lines were so well versed that it faded the acrimonious aspects so far. The book makes you realize many things parallelly. It reflects love as an aura whose fragrance is rose; how broken hearts and swollen eyes are marks of fears that lies in our soul. At the same time things like "wear your shades and set the mood"; "there's a young clever heart beating"; "love doesn't stop, there are no b...

"WE HUNT THE FLAME" BOOK REVIEW

Image
We hunt the flame by Hafsah Faizal. This book was swarming my senses throughout. The eptness launched by all the characters in the book introduced me to a furore aspect of excitement which made me grip the plot of the book tightly and challenged me to maintain a sense of camaraderie with it. The book wraps a subdivided land of magic whose survivers were in a need to restore the magic as soon as possible and Zafira- the huntress , one of the main character was from the subdivison named Arawiya. She was seen here being ready to be one from the hoi polloi who was ready to convert this necessity to a mission by putting her life on stake. On the otherhand Nasir the other main lead was set to find JAWARAT the archaic artifact by his father which is able to restore magic but his destiny in the name of Jawarat was ready to take him to a paeaning path which will serve him with 'ultimate resuscitation'. Some of you may find this book byzantine, but the twists and turns plotted will...

"UNRAVEL ME" BOOK REVIEW

Image
UNRAVEL ME BY TAHEREH MAFI. So here I popped up again with the second part of this startling series which highlights: Juliette's personality as somewhat of more acumen in respect to her broken shell of stress and obstinacy. Here she was seen rejoicing at some points with Adam Kent her lover and school buddy after so long; as he was the first to touch her and this fact was like a communique to her if she had a channel to broadcast. Here Juliette was seen mending her gashes mentally and physically whilst escaping from the clutches of his enemy Warner and joining hands with some of the rebels against the so called Re-establishment but during her escape with Adam over the window she was being observed with changes in her physiognomy, which were cultivated in confusion and shock when she caught the very fact that Warner was immune to her deadly touch. She sort of managed to suppress the surmise with the ongoing rapid changes in her surroundings full of gnawing, rudiments and a b...

"SHATTER ME" BOOK REVIEW

Image
SHATTER ME by Tahereh Mafi - Dystopian Thriller. So here I am, so glad that I can employ a parachute to leave an aircraft to make you discover this interesting book series which includes a bunch of Novels and Novellas so far. If being specific in regard to this book of the whole series; I realised what it feels to have a mind and a soul imploring eachother for mercy wrapped with the chasmic level of solicitude and creating rancid complications as a result; whilst no kith and kins are their to hold on but the twists and turns of all types are waiting for you and all of these made me go through the tunnels of reposition, assuagement and a certain kind of obstinacy which the main character holds to. So, the story is narrated by the main character JULIETTTE FERRARS a 17 years old denarian, who has been locked up by the Reestablishment and the consideration of holding her captive as a wicked monster who needs to get halted is being stated that she has a lethal touch...
